Romanian authorities have recently reported a new case of African swine fever.

Romania reports another ASF case

The disease was also confirmed in the Comanicea village, Dolj County, the National Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) announced on Tuesday, according to Mediafax. This is the 15th county where the disease has been reported.

The authorities have implemented a protection zone within a radius of 3 kilometers and a surveillance zone was established within a radius of 10 kilometers around the outbreak.

Until now, no other cases of the disease have been reported in households or in commercial farms from the county.
