Russia creates Green Lane to secure supplies for animal farmers and vets

Russia has simplified the procedures for general good imports by eliminating for 30 days some of the bureaucratic measures in its customs and the duties for some important merchandises, as announced by the Romanian- Russian Chamber for Economical Cooperation.

A "Green Line" for freight haulers have been established to reduce the time at the border checkpoints and to facilitate the quick access of some goods in the Russian market.
The measure aims to help animal importers, distributors of veterinary drugs and equipment along with other categories of businesses.

However, food restrictions placed by Russia as a retaliatory measure in 2014 have not been lifted and will probably stay in place until the end of the year, as announced in the summer of 2019 by Kremlin.
