ABPA and Vida de Granja join forces in a digital campaign on biosecurity and prevention of AI
The campaign will bring together videos, educational content, informational materials, and digital activations produced directly within the production environment, showing how biosecurity practices are part of the daily routine of Brazilian farms and are essential for the protection of animals, food production, and food safety.
With dynamic language and an approach connected to the daily life of the field, the content will cover topics such as access control to farms, vehicle and equipment sanitation, clothing changes, sanitary monitoring, care for wild birds, preventive management, and immediate communication in suspected cases.
The materials will be published on ABPA's and "Vida de Granja's" digital channels, expanding the reach of technical information and reinforcing sanitary awareness among producers, employees, students, agricultural professionals, and consumers interested in learning more about food production in Brazil.
According to the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin, the initiative reinforces the strategic role of communication in strengthening the culture of sanitary prevention.
"Biosecurity is a daily construction, made by thousands of people within farms and throughout the production chain. By bringing technical information closer and more accessible, we broaden the understanding of the importance of preventive care and value the work done by the sector to protect Brazilian production. At the same time, the video seeks to reinforce guidelines for producers, supporting the preservation of the sanitary status of our commercial production," highlights Santin.
For Luciana Dalmagro, the campaign also helps to bring the urban public closer to the reality of the countryside.
"Many people are unaware of the level of care, technology, and responsibility involved in poultry production. Showing this in a transparent, practical, and educational way is a means of strengthening awareness about biosecurity and valuing the work carried out daily on farms," he states.
This action is part of the ongoing efforts of the Brazilian poultry industry to strengthen preventive measures and sanitary education, aligned with international best practices and the guidelines of official agricultural defense agencies.
