Brazilian exporters of animal protein participate in FHA Singapore 2026
The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), will take Brazilian animal protein exporters to FHA – Food & Hotel Asia, one of the most important international trade fairs focused on the food, food service and hospitality sectors in Asia, held in Singapore from April 21 to 24.
Promoting the sectoral brands Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Pork, Brazilian Egg, Brazilian Breeders, and Brazilian Duck, approximately 10 Brazilian agribusinesses participated in the initiative, in a space exclusively for the sector. Confirmed participants include: Alibem, Copacol, Ecofrigo, Frigoestrela, GTfoods, MBRF, Naturovos, Seara, Jaguafrangos, and Zanchetta.
Singapore is one of the most important markets for Brazilian animal protein exports in Southeast Asia, especially due to its strategic position as a regional logistics and distribution hub. The country maintains a consistent presence among the destinations for Brazilian chicken meat exports, with 15,400 tons shipped in February, a 20.1% increase compared to the same period last year. In the first two months of the year, shipments to the Singaporean market totaled 29,600 tons, a 9.4% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
In the case of pork, Singapore also figures among the relevant destinations in the Brazilian export agenda, with 5,400 tons shipped in February and 10,900 tons in the accumulated period of January and February, reflecting the constant demand of the local market for imported proteins from suppliers with high sanitary standards and regular supply capacity.
According to the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin, Brazilian participation in FHA reinforces the strategy of expanding the presence of Brazilian animal protein in markets with a high dependence on food imports.
“FHA is one of the main platforms for connecting with importers, distributors, and operators in the Asian food service sector. The presence of Brazilian agribusinesses at the event reinforces Brazil's position as a reliable supplier of animal protein, with high sanitary standards, production capacity, and regular supply to international markets,” says Santin.
