INTERPORC reinforces the presence of Spanish pork in Asia at SIAL Shanghai
In this edition, INTERPORC led a group stand of 750 square meters together with 17 companies from the sector: Costa Food Meat, Jorge Pork Meat, Frigoríficos Costa Brava, Mafriges, Lorfood-Incarlopsa, Corporación Alimentaria Guissona, Cárnica Batallé, Olot Meats, ElPozo Alimentación, Grupo Vall Companys, Frigolouro-Grupo Coren, Friselva, Fribin, Famadesa, Frigoríficos Andaluces de Conservas de Carne, Industrias Cárnicas Tello and Cárnicas Tabladillo.
The space, a showcase for Spanish pork in the Asian market, presented the sector as an international benchmark for quality, food safety, sustainability, and animal welfare. In addition to scheduled business activities and professional meetings, the stand featured tastings and cooking demonstrations designed to introduce Chinese industry professionals to the versatility and gastronomic value of Spanish pork products.
For these culinary initiatives, INTERPORC has the collaboration of leading professionals in China such as Leon Lin, a pioneer in the introduction and promotion of Spanish ham in that market, as well as its positioning in the premium segment.
Daniel de Miguel, International Director of INTERPORC, highlights that “SIAL Shanghai attracts thousands of professional buyers from all over the world, making it a key platform to boost business relationships and the presence of our companies in Asia.”
